HGV Training - Category C and C+E

LGV Category C Licence
Rigid vehicles require an LGV Category C licence. The benefits of the LGV Cat C licence are drivers are qualified to drive any rigid vehicle with no restrictions on the number of axles, weight or size. You have to pass the Cat C before moving onto the C+E.
Our LGV Cat C course includes:
Medical, Licence Application and 1 hour Assessment Drive ‘Special Starter Offer’. The Theory Test, which is a Multiple-Choice and Hazard Perception Test, and the new CPC Case Studies if required.
Practical Training (minimum 16 hrs behind the wheel). This can be either intensive 4-5 days or conducted over several weeks (eves and weekends available)
DSA Practical Test approx 1½ hrs.
Once you have passed your Cat C licence you are then eligible to train for your Cat C+E licence with us.
LGV Category C+E Licence
Articulated vehicles require an LGV Category C+E licence. This licence allows qualified drivers to drive any rigid or articulated vehicle with no restrictions on number of axles, weight or size.
Our LGV cat C+E course includes:
Practical Training (minimum 12 hrs behind the wheel). This can be either intensive 2-3 days or conducted over several weeks (eves and weekends available).
Please note these courses are subject to an assessment drive (£20). (No medical or theory required)
