HIAB Course Available Now

RTITB accredited HIAB courses are now being delivered throughout all our branches. Courses are normally run on Saturdays and at the end of the course you will be issued with a licence card to prove you are legal to work a HIAB on site.

Category D1 ( Mini Bus ) Training

Passenger Carrying Vehicle

This licence will enable successful candidates to drive a vehicle with between 9 and 16 passenger seats. To qualify for this you must be at least 21 yrs of age (18 with restrictions), hold a full car licence and be medically fit.

Our PCV Cat D1 course includes:

Medical, Licence Application and 1 hour Assessment Drive . ‘Special Starter Offer’ Theory Test, which is a multiple-choice exam and the new Hazard Perception Test.

Practical Training (minimum 12 hrs behind the wheel). This can be either intensive 2-3 days or conducted over several weeks (eves and weekends available)

DSA Practical Test approx 1½ hrs

CAT C+E (ARTIC)

The VOLVO FM12 tractor unit makes it an easy upgrade once you have passed your CAT C with us. We use a twin axle 40ft trailer which is very responsive to the driver.

CAT C (RIGID)

The VOLVO FM 7 is used widely throughout the haulage industry, renowned for its reliability, driver friendly cockpit and easy to use gearbox. Which makes it a perfect training vehicle.
